王炜,副教授,硕士生导师。2007年毕业于北京大学化学与分子工程学院,同年进入美国俄亥俄州立大学攻读博士学位。2014年加入耶鲁大学分子生物物理与生物化学系Yong Xiong教授课题组进行博士后研究。2019年加入重庆医科大学生命科学研究院。

王炜副教授围绕“病原微生物与宿主之间的互作机制”这一关键科学问题,运用包括结构生物学、生物化学和细胞生物学在内的多种手段开展创新性研究,为开发抗感染新方法提供理论依据。主持国家自然科学基金、重庆市科委、重庆市教委及渝中区科委等多项科研课题。发表SCI论文15篇。作为第一作者/通讯作者(含共同)在Nature CommunicationsPNASStructureNucleic Acids Research等期刊发表论文5篇。获得重庆市高层次人才(第四类),任重庆市医学会呼吸病学专业委员会感染学组委员。申报中国发明专利3项。担任Genes and Diseases等高水平期刊审稿专家。
